The Meaning of Love and Life

Preface

This essays will be a Latino Catholic view of life and love. I’m an orthodox Catholic who takes Our Lord’s promise to heart:

"And I say also unto thee that thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it."
[Matt.16:15]

Orthodox Catholics have too long suffered secular analysis that demeans all they hold dear. This essays are an answer to the detractors of our culture from the secular and religious right as well as left.

Those who say we have a debased and undemocratic mentally are wrong. The ideals of our culture are the basis of all sane and healthy societies. Love and life are Catholic ideals. They are universal, which is what the word catholic means.
